Summer Lovin
14 JunHere are some great ideas for summer. A great way for getting a natural pretty look is to use bronzer and your own face powder to blend as eyeshadow with a dash of shimmer over your lid. Dying to get that surfer look? Aveda’s Pure Abundance Hair Potion is literally amazing. Step 1) Comb hair protector (their damage control spray is also excellent) and a lightweight styling foam through the hair. Step 2) Rough dry your hair until it is about 75% dry. Step 3 Take two inch sections and twist each one *away from the face. Step 4) Use your fingers to scrunch your twisty sections which blowing dry. You can use a little hair spray to help tame frizzies. Keep scrunching up, while pointing your blow dryer down, this will help keep frizz down. and Voila! Beach mama!

28 MayFor those of you who know me, I graduated from the very well known Makeup Designory in Los Angeles. Ive been doing Makeup for over 7 years and i have been doing hair for 5. Being busy in the salon has resurrected some long term back issues ive had since i was quite young. I love doing hair and this has been pretty disheartening. This has left me to keep my eyes and heart open to new opportunities in the beauty world. I decided to create Milk & Honey. It is a beauty company that targets weddings and special events. As most of you know I have been busy working on my non -profit beginnings. Betties and Bullies will be shooting a calendar in late July and Milk & Honey will be doing makeup and hair (myself and a few other lovely talents!!!) This is a calendar that features gorgeous gals posing with some oh so adorable Pit Bulls and Bully Breeds! So excited. While color and cut is always going to be a part of my life, im hoping to take San Diego’s wedding industry to a level that collaborates vintage and modern looks.
